Southampton is at the bottom of the Premier League table and has failed to win each of their last four home matches. On the other hand, Bournemouth is seeking to win its third consecutive away game. Southampton has lost ten home games this season, the most in the division, and they have won their last three meetings with Bournemouth in all competitions, including a 1-0 victory in October. Bournemouth has won their last two away games and will aim to secure their third consecutive Premier League away win for the first time. The away team has won the last four meetings between these two teams. Southampton will be without Che Adams, Mohammed Salisu, and Juan Larios due to injuries, while Jan Bednarek's fitness remains uncertain. Ainsley Maitland-Niles is available for selection.
