Happy Birthday to M. Vijayan: Celebrating the Achievements of a Football Legend

 M. Vijayan, one of the greatest football players in Indian history, celebrates his birthday on april 25. Born in 1969 in Thrissur, Kerala, Vijayan played as a forward and was known for his speed, agility, and technical ability on the ball.

He played for Kerala Police, FC Kochin, JCT Mills, East Bengal, and Mohun Bagan during his career and helped FC Kochin win the National Football League in 1997. Vijayan also played a key role in the Indian national team, scoring 40 goals in 79 appearances and helping India win the South Asian Football Federation Cup in 1993.

Vijayan was named the Indian Player of the Year in 1993 and 1997 and has since become a respected football coach, working to promote the sport in India. We wish him a very happy birthday and all the best in his future endeavo
